Women’s Coalition of Zimbabwe (WCoZ), is a network of women’s rights activists and women’s rights organizations in Zimbabwe with national structures established in 1999. WCoZ brings women from diverse backgrounds to advocate for the attainment and enjoyment of their socio-economic and political rights, and ensure that the women and girls empowerment agenda remains central to the national agenda.
Background to the Consultancy
Women’s Coalition of Zimbabwe (WCoZ) with the support from United Nations Democracy Fund is working on a 2-year intervention which seeks to enhance women’s participation in electoral processes and coordinate collective advocacy initiatives to address the numerous obstacles that women election workers face in carrying out election work. Against this background, WCoZ is looking for a consultant to conduct the capacity strengthening needs assessment for women election workers.
Tasks under this consultancy
The consultancy will be expected to conduct capacity strengthening needs assessment of the various groups of female election workers at community and national level and effectively carry out this assessment under the current COVID-19 context.
The Consultancy will be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Conduct capacity strengthening needs for women election workers in Zimbabwe;
- Submit draft report for review and input;
- Submit the final consolidated report.
The detailed assignment timelines will be agreed on with the successful candidate.

- 2 samples or reference of previous works either as files or links which were previously produced by the bidder/consultant;
- Proposed work plan;
- Proposed fee.
