Job Overview

LOCATION: Due to the nature of the assignment, the consultant will need to be based in Zimbabwe during the duration of the assignment.

We know young people have the power to solve the challenges we face in our world, but they are being side-lined. We are the agency that works with young people so they can lead in solving those challenges. Whether that means supporting communities to end child marriage or prevent HIV, we work with young people to change their lives and the lives of people in their communities. Our programmes are genuinely life- changing, but we can’t do any of this without talented, creative individuals at every level of our organization.

In May 2018, Restless Development with support from Amplify Change embarked on a two year project that sought to strengthen coordination and advocacy initiatives for improved sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people in Zimbabwe. The project brought together four CSOs, one DPO and youth advocates comprising the AmplifyChange SRHR Network in Zimbabwe, who were convened by Restless Development. The partners worked collectively to advocate for improved sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people in Zimbabwe (especially young people living with disabilities) through youth-led, data-driven accountability for commitments made by duty bearers on SRHR at local, national, regional and global level.

Restless Development Zimbabwe is seeking the services of a suitably qualified expert for the purpose of conducting an End of Project Evaluation to assess the outcomes and impact of the “Enhancing access to SRHR services and information for young people” project.

The main objective of the end of project evaluation is to enable Restless Development, AmplifyChange, the project partners including government line ministries and the communities in which the project was implemented in particular young people to know and understand the outcomes and impact of the project. The results of the project will further help to improve the design of related projects in the future. The evaluation will also determine the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the project.
