pigad is a non-profit organisation that was registered as a Zimbabwean Development Trust in 2014 and has been assisting smallholder poultry farmers in Goromonzi, Marondera, Murewa, Chipinge and Chimanimani districts of Zimbabwe. With BMZ as the key donor, pigad is now implementing the 2 nd project in the same districts and has extended its reach to youths, to enhance sustainability of its interventions. The overall goal of the support is to contribute to poverty alleviation and improved food security through sustainable production and marketing of poultry products. In line with this objective, pigad intends to conduct an outcomes evaluation (summative evaluation) that will assess the impact of the project with regards to the intended outcomes of the project.
Objectives of the evaluation
The primary purpose of this evaluation is to assess the impact of the agribusiness project in the targeted districts.
