The Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant who will support donor management activities through management of all operational financial activities including processing of all payments and handling of field petty cash. The successful candidate should deliver a superior level of service and support.

What we are looking for

  • Diploma in accounting/Accounting degree.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Three year’ s experience in finance, ideally with at least one year in the creditors /payments function
  • Gender, cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Strong computer skills and a thorough knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets are essential. Knowledge of electronic mail and data bases is essential
  • Flexible and courteous
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of Oxfam and to the principles of equity and justice
