Our client is an international company expanding their Development within Zimbabwe looking for experienced and qualified Software / Java Developer to join their team.

The incumbent must have:

  • Previous experience working in Web Enterprise Software and building web applications in Java. Designing new software & software modification based on the functional specification provided.
  • Developing new software & software modification using the packages and environments chosen by the Company.
  • To have each code-commit peer reviewed as well as undertaking review of others work.
  • Developing documentation to assist users.
  • Undertake all work using the procedures & standards set by the Company.
  • Ongoing maintenance of the developed software, debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
  • Aligning application design with business goals.
  • Qualifications or practical experience with: Enterprise and core Java 7 or 8; Tomcat; SQL; Transactions; Multithreading; JavaScript; HTML/CSS; ORM. It is advantageous to have knowledge of: Postgres; SOAP and Restful APIs; Netsuite; Android; Linux; ZPL;  Selenium.

The salary range is between 1800 USD – 2500 USD per month for this is ongoing contract.
