Position summary

The Temporary Office Assistant will report to the Administration and Procurement Coordinator and will manage kitchen and office supplies.

The Temporary Office Assistant will:

  • Be responsible for sweeping and cleaning work areas, toilets and kitchen on a regular basis;
  • Performing office duties which include photocopying documents and preparing staff tea and other administrative support duties;
  • Maintaining the office grounds clean with well-trimmed lawns, hedge and flowers;
  • Reports any theft, breakage or missing items to the Administration and Procurement Coordinator within 24 hours;
  • Checks and reports any needed maintenance for the office and promotes and abides by Plan policies and procedures including but not limited to:
    • Promotes and abides by Plan International policies and procedures including but not limited to:
      • Gender equality mainstreaming,
      • Child Safeguarding Policy;
      • Code of Conduct and the related mandatory reporting responsibilities.

Entry qualifications and experience

  • A minimum of 5 Ordinary level qualifications including English Language;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
