Background
Section 20, a recently established youth organisation which mainly focuses on the fulfillment of the constitutional provisions of Section 20 of the Zimbabwean Constitution, is interested in bringing on board self motivated and passionate youths to help grow the work together. This has been necessitated by the rapidly expanding scope of its work.
The organisation will empower the volunteers with relevant knowledge and skills sets particular to its line of work and ensure that the successful applicants are provided with all the necessary means to perform their assigned duties and responsibilities.
Description
Applications are invited to fill in the position of a Grant’s Officer with knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping being the key qualification sought for.
The duties of the Grants Officer will be to:
- Handle the financial statements of the organization particularly the grants awarded by its donors;
- Draft up budgets and write grant applications with the help of the Director;
- Write financial reports to the donors for each grant received and ensure that the organization’s spending is in line with regulations governing NGOs.
